Trouble in Samba paradise?

Last week on Dancing With the Stars All-Stars Week 5, judge Carrie Ann Inaba singled out Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina Smirnoff as having something missing in their partnership. Len Goodman disagreed, giving high marks to the couple’s Samba to “Give It to Me Baby.” But it sounds like Apolo may have actually agreed with Carrie Ann.

"I think last week, we were going in the right direction, but Karina and I were going through some issues," Apolo wrote in his People.com blog. "We see each other every single day and it makes things difficult sometimes. At the end of the dance, I don't think we were as connected as we normally are. Technically, the dance was good, but it wasn't my best. Going into this week's competition, I told Karina, ‘Let's clear the air. Let's get back on track and find new inspiration.’ We went out, we talked, we had a good time. I told her we should treat every week like it's our last."

Huh. (Could that be why Carrie Ann was visiting DWTS studios last week? Maybe a mini therapy session with Apolo and Karina?)

This week, A&K have an emotional Viennese Waltz to "Skin" by Rascal Flatts. The song is about cancer and it has personal connections for both Apolo and Karina. Apolo said he feels a lot better going into this dance than last week. Then again, last week he said Karina's stumble during their Hip Hop routine only brought them closer together and made them stronger.

Should we be worried about these two or is the tide finally turning in their favor?
