DWTS Country Freestyle Face-Off: Donald Driver vs. Drew Lachey
Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd brought down the house last night (May 21) on the Dancing With the Stars Season 14 finale with their crowd pleasing (and perfect-scoring) Freestyle to "I Play Chicken with the Train" by Cowboy Troy.
Donald purposefully defied expectations by going the country route, harkening back to one of the best and most memorable DWTS freestyles of all time: Cheryl Burke and Drew Lachey's sexy Season 2 extravaganza set to "Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)" by Big & Rich, which won Cheryl the Mirror Ball in her first season on the show.
In our opinion, Donald and Peta easily outshone Cheryl and William Levy last night. However, as fun as their Freetyle was, we're not sure if they managed to top Cheryl's original triumph. But hey, that might just be nostalgia talking.
Check out both countrified Freestyles here and let us know which you like best.
