While pro dancers Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Derek Hough and Cheryl Burke have all hinted to leaving Dancing With the Stars either after All-Stars or next year, host Tom Bergeron told Access Hollywood he wants to keep going until they drag him off the set.

And even though the new Emmy winner looks like he's always perfectly at ease, he said it's kind of strange, because he's comfortable on live TV — which would terrify most people — but he gets nervous and uncomfortable in other real-life situations.

For one thing, he told Access, he's claustrophobic. So we should be glad DWTS doesn't take place in a trapped elevator. But even at events that are supposed to be fun, Tom sometimes feels ill at ease. “My wife and I will go to a cocktail party and she’ll make 40 new friends and I’ll be looking at my shoes," he told Access, adding, “People probably think I’m just stuck up. I’m not, I’m just weird!”

Hey, as long as he's comfortable with us — the millions of DWTS fans — he can be shy at all those silly parties. Besides, we like the weird ones!
