Dancing With the Stars host Tom Bergeron is trading Grumpy Old Len for Oscar The Grouch!

The Emmy-winning host will be on Sesame Street soon, a visit he’s been trying to make for a while. Back on October 30, Tom tweeted, “Thanks to Sandy, I'll be delaying my visit to @sesamestreet, Elmo, Big Bird and Oscar for a couple of weeks. But don't tell Mother Nature!!”

It’s been a couple of weeks, and today (Thursday, November 15) Tom is on set, happily tweeting updates, including...

• “Just arrived at Sesame Street. Dressing room full of toys. Not too excited.. :-) @ Kaufman Astoria Studios.” Here’s the cute photo he included with that tweet.

• “My Sesame Street dressing room door. sesamestreet @ Kaufman Astoria Studios.” Here’s the pic.

• “Waiting for my close-up outside Hooper's Store! #SesameStreet @ Kaufman Astoria Studios.” Another pic.

He may share more photos, and hopefully details on when his episode will air. Congrats, Tom! Say hi to Bert and Ernie for us.
