Good deed alert!

When she’s not flashing her judging paddle on Dancing With the Stars, Carrie Ann Inaba is a self-described “crazy cat lady” with a long history of not just loving and adopting cats, but working to get other animals into forever homes.

Aiming to help even more, Carrie Ann has created a new web-only show called Crib Cat, which PeoplePets says will debut in March on Petsami’s YouTube Channel.

According to People, the show’s short webisodes will each showcase a shelter cat hand-chosen by Carrie Ann to be featured for adoption. Carrie Ann told People that the October death of her 19-year-old cat, Shadow, was the catalyst for the new show idea. "He was my best friend and had been through so much with me. After losing him, it made me realize that it's time to get involved."

She’s certainly doing that. Carrie Ann is also a celebrity ambassador to Best Friends Animal Society, and she’ll be hosting the Humane Society's 26th Genesis Awards in May.

However Season 14 goes for the celebs, pros, hosts, and judges, Carrie Ann definitely deserves perfect 10s for her love of animals. Paws up!

Dancing With the Stars Season 14 premieres Monday, March 19 at 8 pm ET/PT on ABC.
