Dancing With the Stars pro Louis van Amstel was not named as one of the pros competing on All-Stars, but he tweeted Monday, “Even though I'm not on the pro list this am on @GMA doesn't mean I'm not on this all star season!!!!!!! ;-) #dwts.”

Intriguing! We’ll have to hear more about Louis’ role later. (Guest judge? Results Show performer?) For now, Louis is just sharing his thoughts on the Season 15 partnerships. Surprisingly enough — given all the flak Bristol takes for her family’s stand against same-sex marriage — the openly gay pro says he’s rooting for Season 11’s comeback kid.

“It’s quite surprising [to see her here] from dancing ability alone...” Louis told Hollywood.com. “But she was the fan favorite, somehow she got the votes. She was brought back every week, so she deserves to be here in the All-Star season. But she’s got to work that out for her, because she’s got, from 13 celebrities, 11 of them have dance ability. So she’s got to work hard and show her ability through the dance and she might actually, again, surprise America… I’m rooting for Bristol, she’s a very down-to-earth woman and her disadvantage of not being an entertainer, not being a sports person and yet somehow, she’s holding her own."

So it’s not the world’s most gushing endorsement, but at least Louis is showing Bristol some support. By the way, who do you think is the other celeb without dance ability, in Louis’ opinion? Pam Anderson?

Read the full story for more from Louis, including his argument for why Sabrina Bryan is the most deserving to be voted in as the 13th contestant. Maybe if Sabrina is voted in, Louis will dance with her?

Dancing With the Stars Season 15: All-Stars will premiere on Monday, September 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. Check out the full All-Stars cast list here.
