The Chmerkovskiy brothers are all about New York and family — and those two things combined in this tough-guy shot Val recently shared of himself, his brother Maks, and their brother-from-another-mother, former Dancing With the Stars pro troupe member Teddy Volynets.

Lately, the bros have been spending a lot of time in the Hamptons, on Long Island. Val gave the place a new name, tweeting along with the photo: “Strong Island @teddyv @maksimc #fastlifelivin #stilltippin.”

It’s too bad DWTS tapes in L.A., since the guys are even more at home in the NYC area. Maybe DWTS should do an East Coast vs. West Coast dance-off. Maks, Val, Teddy and Tony Dovolani could dance for the East Coast, and Derek Hough, Mark Ballas, Lacey Schwimmer, and Cheryl Burke could rep the West Coast.
