DWTS Season 14 Casting News: Will NY Giant Victor Cruz Dance?

If you’re a football fan, you probably know about NY Giants superstar Victor Cruz. If you’re a ballroom dancing fan, you probably don’t.

With the news that Dancing With the Stars reportedly offered Victor a spot on DWTS Season 14, the worlds of athletics and dancing briefly united once again. But reports suggest that Victor turned them down.

According to the NY Post, Cruz said no “Because I just want to be focused on football and focused on what’s to come,” he said. “And I’m just not at the point in my career where I feel like I need to do that.”

Ouch! Is the hugely talented athlete putting down other NFL and NBA stars who’ve gone on the show before him, suggesting that they needed to do it to keep their star status alive and well?

We’ll have to see how any athletes cast for Season 14 feel about that!
