During TV Theme night on Dancing with the Stars, Florence Henderson predictably danced to the theme from The Brady Bunch, but why she did it might surprise you.

"The reason I really wanted to dance to the Brady Bunch theme was because I wanted to dedicate it to Bob," Henderson told TV Squad on the post-show press line, referring to the late Robert Reed (who played her TV husband Mike Brady.)

"To lose him to AIDS [in 1992] broke all of our hearts. The fact that Barry [Williams, Greg] was here and knows how close we all were to Bob ... that was my dedication tonight. Unfortunately, when Bob died they printed his death certificate on the front page in one of our rag sheets, which listed how he died [and that he had AIDS,]" sighed Henderson. "That broke all of our hearts."

Her TV son, Barry Williams, felt it was sad that Reed's life was reduced to one epilogue line. "It seemed to reduce an entire career down to an epitaph," said Williams. "That seemed to be very unfair. I think he's very proud [of Florence] tonight. People don't know that Bob loved music. He was a classically trained pianist."
