Any outfit that follows Maks’ shirtless American Week performance is going to be a disappointment, but this one is pretty good. They are the bronze couple, which is fitting since we wouldn’t give these outfits the gold medal, but they’re in the top three. The color and style don’t really scream “Britney Spears,” “Samba,” or “Guilty Pleasures,” but that just means they gently whisper “not cheesy.” The overall look is flattering on Kirstie’s shrinking figure. The couples looks mature and sophisticated.
The Game Show Network (GSN) seems to be operating on dog years. GSN is currently airing repeats of Dancing With the Stars Season 4 and they just announced they’ll begin airing Season 12 starting Saturday, March 10 at 6 p.m. ET. (The new DWTS Season 14 starts Monday, March 19 on ABC.)
We love the idea of seeing Kirstie Alley, Hines Ward and Ralph “Waxed Off The Show Before His Time” Macchio all over again, but Season 12 first aired last spring. Why not go from Season 4 to — oh, just to throw out a random number — Season 5? Are they tired of Julianne Hough winning already?
GSN has the off-network rights to every ABC season from 4 through 13, so it’s not like they had to skip so many years. Fans would probably love to see Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Mel B heat up the floor on Season 5, plus we could relive the 2007 horror of Mark Ballas and Sabrina Bryan being cut way too soon.
What do you think? Are you glad they are replaying Season 12 or do you wish they had chosen another season? Vote in our poll below.
