Often the Dancing with the Stars celeb/pro pairings are based on height. There are two ladies over 5 feet 10 inches tall on Season 12 — and the supermodel is the shorter of the two. The tallest woman, 5’11” Wendy Williams, got one of the tallest men, 6’1” Tony Dovolani, and 5’10” Petra Nemcova got another tall guy in 6’1” Dmitry Chaplin. Meanwhile, the tallest pro seems to be 6’2” Maksim Chmerkovskiy and he was paired with 5’8” Kirstie Alley, which suggests there was some “Please give me Maks” negotiating going on behind the scenes. (Not that we can blame her, if that’s the case.)

Here are the heights of the stars and pros, as listed on official and unofficial sites — which is the best we can do without following them with a tape measure!
