There are only a few weeks left on Dancing With the Stars All-Stars Season 15, and we’re still not sure which pros we can expect to see back for Season 16 this spring. One of the pros fans are wondering about the most is three-time champ Derek Hough.
Over the summer Derek previewed All-Stars to USA Today, saying, "This season is kind of my swan song. It's my last hurrah," which many fans took to mean he was leaving the show.
However, Derek recently spoke with TV Guide, and when they asked if he could confirm that this is his last season, he answered, “I can't confirm anything. But no matter what, I'll always be part of the show. I'll always be on hand if they need me or want me.”
Like most of the pros, Derek is also interested in pursuing other things, like acting. He took off DWTS Season 12 to work on the movie Cobu 3D, “but to do something significant, I think you need more time than three months,” Derek told TV Guide. “But like I said, nothing is definite right now and I'll always be part of the show. I'm a strong ambassador for it and I'll always be here for it.”
At the very least, it sounds like we'll continue to see Derek perform on the Results Shows, even if he does stop competing.
Do you want Derek to compete on Season 16, or would you like to see him out there as the next Hough movie star, like his sister Julianne?
