So, let’s get this straight: Jake Pavelka is mad at ex-fiancee Vienna Girardi for airing their dirty laundry in Star Magazine, yet Jake has now announced that he and Vienna will meet face-to-face for the first time since their big break-up on the July 5 episode of The Bachelorette. Um, okay!
“What did I ever do to you that you would go down and sell your story to a magazine,” Jake asks Vienna in interview with Extra’s Mario Lopez. “Is being famous that important to you? If you don’t want to be with me, that’s OK. But there’s a very amicable way to split relationships up and [you] did it the wrong way!” Does that mean you’re doing it the right way, Jake? ‘Cause you’re the one gabbing to People and Extra. Talk about two-faced!
“Fame changes people,” he says. “[Vienna] feels like Dancing With The Stars should have been hers, but in my view, I felt like it was ours. She started to get insanely jealous over these wonderful things that were happening in life, and they directly affected her. I saw her frustrations, so I tried to include her in everything I did.”
So why did Jake decide to reunite with Vienna on national TV? “Hopefully, it’s gonna be some closure for me,” Jake says. “America was there and stood with me at the birth of our relationship, and I think I owe it to them and to myself and Vienna to let everybody be there at the end of it!”
He goes on: “There was a serious lack of respect in the relationship. I would like to think that she didn’t cheat. That’s my side right there.”
And what does Jake have to say to the people who think the relationship was a sham from the beginning? “It was real,” Jake says. “And I don’t regret it. I regret what is happening right now. But I don’t regret the decision that I made. I made the best decision on The Bachelor.”
He still thinks he made the “best decision”? Wow, is he delusional?! While we are getting very tired of all this he said, she said nonsense between Jake and Vienna, we have to admit we are kinda excited to see them duke it out on The Bachelorette. Our money’s on Vienna!
