Male celebrities have won the last three seasons of Dancing With the Stars and they could be going for four with All-Stars.

Pro Karina Smirnoff shared a refreshingly candid assessment of the Season 15 cast (as opposed to just saying they are all wonderful and on equal ground), telling People, "The women are very strong, but the male celebrity guests are a little bit stronger overall. I mean, we have an Olympian male guest — Apolo Anton Ohno. I'm sure he'll go very far."

We also have a (summer) Olympian female guest in Shawn Johnson and she won her season, too. However of the six returning champs, four are male, so we see what Karina is getting at.

Still, as Karina notes, “It's going to depend on the chemistry that [the stars] have with their partners, the quality of the dancing that [they] do, and who has more fans." Yep, that’s basically the combo. The pro partnerships will be announced on August 13. Since it sounds like Karina is returning, she’d better hope the male celebs have a better shot ‘cause that means the female pros are back in the power position.

Oh and Karina openly admits she would be “very, very surprised” if Bristol Palin won. It's nice to see a pro actually speak her mind. On that note, we wonder what Karina would think about dancing with Ryan Lochte next spring...

Dancing With the Stars Season 15: All-Stars will premiere on Monday, September 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. Check out the full All-Stars cast list here.
