Don't worry, Dancing With the Stars fans — there's no awkwardness or tension between Maksim Chmerkovskiy and his two DWTS co-star exes, Karina Smirnoff and Peta Murgatroyd, or the DWTS producers. Now, there's still no word on how he feels about Len Goodman nowadays, but since he complimented Len's Side-By-Side Challenge, even Len may be on Maks's good side now.

Maks set the record straight with RumorFix after Season 16, Week 5, when he had to dance on the same night as two of his exes. "I was like, I have to stop dating within my work environment," Maks joked.

Karina previously told People things were a little awkward at first when she and Jacoby Jones had to dance with Maks, but then it was great and fun. Maks seemed to agree with his ex-fiancee, and added of his more recent ex, "It’s the same thing with Peta. Peta and I are great.” Peta also told Extra, “We’re still friends, we still talk. I’m happy, he’s happy. It’s a win-win situation.” And Maks added of DWTS itself, “The whole purpose of this was to show people there is no bad blood between production and I. The show and I are on great terms." Of course — it's his show, remember? (Kidding!)

So there's nothing but love between Maks and everyone. Still, he's not competing this season and we don't know when he'll be back. It'd be nice if he could take this time to develop that Chmerkovskiy brothers TV show we'd like to see on next year's schedule...
