As the first dumpee of Dancing With the Stars Season 12, "Psycho" Mike Catherwood is now part of “The Mount Rushmore of terrible dancers.” Unfortunately, losing Mike and Lacey Schwimmer also means the next eight weeks are going to be a lot less hot and humorous. He did have the lowest scores after the first two dances of the season, but we were still hoping to see more from the goofiest couple on the dance floor. He had potential, people! But he did not have enough of a fan base — unlike Wendy Williams, who believes she should’ve gotten 10s for her first two performances. Whatever you say, Wendy.

Here are highlights from Season 12’s first Results Show:

Group dance opening: DWTS pros Anna Trebunskaya, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Cheryl Burke, Louis van Amstel, and Lacey Schwimmer danced to Jennifer Lopez’s “On the Floor,” soon joined by the six dancers of the new pro dance troupe. Bonus: Maks choreographed the routine! He really is stepping things up this season.

Brooke Watch 2011: Brooke Burke finally broke her black gown streak with a white Herve Leger sleeveless dress with some nice detailing. We give this one a thumbs up. But what’s up with her bangs? Are we feeling the bangs?

Chris Brown performs: He started with “Yeah 3X,” featuring a little kid breakdancing. The whole thing was obviously recorded in advance — major lip sync alert — so red-clad Chris and his colorful karate-kid dancers could get busy with dance moves and some pretty impressive flips. Later in the show he did “Forever,” the song forever famous for that wedding video on YouTube. The routine is performed in the dark with Chris and the dancers wearing flashing lights. It’s like a laser show. The audience cheers enthusiastically, not boo-ing the fact that he showed up or the fact that he didn’t actually sing.

Details on the kiss: Backstage, Maks told Kirstie that, next time, she should let him know when he wants to kiss her so he can participate. (Hey, Maks, does that apply to us too?) Kirstie wouldn’t tell if the kiss involved tongue or not. Cheeky.

Meet the new dance troupe: We’re introduced to the new DWTS troupe, including foreign hotties Tristan MacMahon, Oksana Dmyrenko, and Peta Murgatroyd. We also have a wannabe Maks in Ted Volynets, whose sister Nicole, is also in the troupe. Christopher “Kiki” Nyemchek is the sixth member and he’s used to competing with Ted. Can we get a separate reality show just following these people around? Especially Tristan. That Irish accent is cute. The six performed a Jason Gilkison-choreographed routine to "Dance to the Music" by Sly & the Family Stone.

About the stars and pros: The 11 couples have been bonding and we learn a bit about them. For example, Wendy burps loud and proud. When Cheryl’s mad, she enunciates. Anna always asks for just one more run-through from Ray, then makes him do a lot more. Kym is obsessed with Hines’s butt. Chelsea thinks she and Mark have an obnoxious chemistry. Kirstie says she and Maks have the chemistry all actors should have — they are madly in love for the duration of the show, then kick each other to the curb. (Is that what happened between Maks and Erin Andrews?)

Elimination: It came down to Sugar Ray & Anna, Mike & Lacey, and Wendy & Tony as “in jeopardy.” Wendy & Tony were revealed to be safe. When it was down to Ray vs. Mike, Len Goodman gave them some kind words for coming out with no dance experience. Tom Bergeron said it didn’t necessarily mean that both couples had the lowest combined total of judges’s scores and audience votes. Sometimes they just drag someone into the bottom two for dramatic effect. Tom then revealed that Mike would be going home.

Mike’s reaction: What will he remember overall? He says it’s been nothing but a pleasurable experience. “It sucks to be sent home first, but I made a lot of good friends.” He said we know that Lacey is beautiful on the outside, but she’s also beautiful on the inside. To be mentioned along with other first-bootees like Kenny Mayne and The Hoff, Mike feels like he’s part of “The Mount Rushmore of terrible dancers.” The silver lining: Mike & Lacey will get to meet Britney Spears when they appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight. Then Mike showed his best moves of the season in his farewell dance. Not to throw Lacey under the bus, but did he just need different choreography?
