Designer Vera Wang was a fixture in the Dancing With the Stars audience back on Season 10, when Olympic skater Evan Lysacek danced to second place.
They've always been close. Now that she's separated from husband Arthur Becker, they seem to be even closer. An "insider" told the New York Daily News that Evan moved into Vera's Beverly Hills mansion last month. He was reportedly given the option "to stay there for a while."
There is “something going on,” the source told the Daily News, while a second insider said Vera is “just enamoured with him and enjoys his company."
Vera designed Kim Kardashian's wedding dress and she took Evan as her date to the October nuptials.
Just to enter speculation mode, it's possible that Evan is signing up for this fall's DWTS All-Stars season and just wants to stay in a cushy place near the L.A. studios while he trains. After all, Ralph Macchio recently said he believes DWTS is going with finalists for the All-Stars season — and Evan was a finalist. His pro partner Anna Trebunskaya has tweeted support for his return and if she doesn't get him, reigning champion Peta Murgatroyd has said she'd like to dance with him too.
The Season 15 cast will be revealed next Friday, July 27 and at that point we can either add Evan to the list or take him off.
