Dancing With The Stars

Three-time Dancing With the Stars champ Derek Hough is known as a flirtatious guy, but that doesn't mean he's dating every girl he's seen with. So we should probably stay skeptical about this Perez Hilton rumor that Derek and his ex Cheryl Cole have "reconciled their relationship."

According to Perez, Derek and Cheryl were caught "canoodling" in the audience at a Coldplay concert. A witness said, "They were really slushy. He stood with his arms round her waist as they mouthed the words to each other for 'Fix You.’"

Derek reportedly broke up with Cheryl late last spring, just before Cheryl was cut from the U.S. version of The X Factor. At the time, Derek supposedly told a friend, "I love that girl with all my heart, but I just can’t do it any more. I have done everything I can to pick Cheryl up. But every time I am with her she refuses to leave her room for days and days. It’s not healthy behavior and doesn’t make for a healthy relationship. It’s tough but I have to leave Cheryl and get on with my life.”

The Mirror said Cheryl was getting close to her ex-husband Ashley Cole and considering taking him back. As a friend told The Mirror at the time, “Everyone knew Derek and Cheryl would drift apart ­eventually. Derek has been wonderful support for her during the last year, but there was a real lack of spark between them.”

Who knows if any of the rumors are true, but it sounds like they are at least close friends. And they’ll always have that malaria scare to bond over!
