If Roshon Fegan is really upset at being eliminated from Dancing With the Stars Season 14 just before the Semifinals, he’s doing a good job of hiding it behind his usual humor and high energy. He’s glad that he and pro partner Chelsie Hightower left DWTS on a high note, taking second place on the judges’ leaderboard after the Week 8 Performance Show.

"It was, like I said, an amazing experience,” Roshon told On the Red Carpet. “And yeah, a very high note: Aaaaaahhhh! I'm not Katherine [Jenkins] so I can't go any higher, but pretty high. A 10, 9, 10 — we've been waiting so long to get a 10. It was unbelievable. We got it. We got kicked out, but we still got what we wanted the whole time."

Ro still has his little crush on Chelsie and told Zap2it what he’ll miss most about her is how "goofy" she is. He said he wants her to be "the angel on top of my Christmas tree." (Aww!)

Chelsie will miss Roshon’s perpetual happiness. "It's huge to have somebody else who's positive," Chelsie told On the Red Carpet. "Sometimes you get celebrities that are so wrapped up in it and their stress just rubs off on yours. We're already stressed. We want to do the best job we can do, so it's nice to have somebody who is so positive and looks at everything in a positive outlook and doesn't take things too seriously. It was great."

What did Roshon bring to the show that none of her other DWTS partners brought? "He was ultra, ultra, ultra talented, so he definitely brought talent,” Chelsie said. “I think the biggest thing is his talent and his positive outlook."

Roshon leaned into the microphone with a smile. “She called me talented!" Chelsie went further than that: "You're the most talented partner I've had, by far."

That’s probably true. She took fourth place with Ty Murray back on Season 8 and got to fifth place with Romeo Miller on Season 12, but even taking sixth place, Roshon probably had more natural dance talent. He just never found a large DWTS fan base for some reason. Good luck out there, Roshon!

Watch the next new episode of DWTS on Monday, May 14 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
