Talk about cutting it close. The official cast of Dancing With the Stars Season 14 will be revealed this Tuesday (February 28) — six days from today — on Good Morning America, but Ryan Seacrest just said on his radio show that they still haven’t finalized the lineup. Gulp!
As Ryan put it, “They should make a reality show outta the casting process.” The celebs and pros often meet each other the week before the cast announcement and start rehearsing together. The Season 14 premiere is on March 19, less than four weeks away.
Yesterday, the reliable DWTS news account @DWTSGossip shared a partial list of “confirmed” pro dancers returning for Season 14, including six lady pros. It seemed like that was the full line-up for the ladies, suggesting producers have already sewn up the male celebs who will dance. So are they still casting for female celebs or are they just finalizing individual contract details at this point?
Whoever they cast, we just hope for a few good surprises next week!
