With the recent news that Dancing With the Stars may be changing its judges’ panel for the first time in 16 seasons, we can’t help but weigh the pros and cons of such a major decision.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy was one of the first people to voice his discontent with the current lineup of judges — Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Len Goodman, all of whom he’s sparred with on live shows in the past. In Wetpaint Entertainment’s exclusive interview with the bad boy of the ballroom, he made his opinions clear. But now, it looks like age may be a factor in addition to the judges’ personalities.

Would a younger judge be a good way to balance out the panel? At 68, Len Goodman is of retiree age in the US, and it might be smart to add a 20-something to the mix. While rumors haven’t specified whether or not producers are considering replacing one of the current judges or simply adding a fourth judge, we wouldn’t be shocked if Len, Carrie Ann, or Bruno was replaced.

Now it’s your turn to voice an opinion. Should DWTS change the judges for Season 16, or are you happy with the current lineup? Vote in the reaction buttons below!

Dancing With the Stars Season 16 premieres March 18, 2013 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
