Tristan MacManus: The Season 14 Mirror Ball Is “Donald’s to Lose at This Stage”
With just three couples left competing for the Mirror Ball on Dancing With the Stars Season 14, the contestants are under more pressure than ever. Especially when other dance pros are picking their favorites to win.
Irish hottie Tristan MacManus, who was eliminated this season with partner Gladys Knight, tells Entertainment Weekly that he thinks Donald Driver and pro partner Peta Murgatroyd will take home the trophy. “It’s hard to say because everyone’s had a blip, maybe, at some stage, and everyone’s killed it at some stage as well. But Donald’s great, I get on really well with Donald.”
Tristan did say that Katherine Jenkins and William Levy (who he calls “Billy”) are both great, but had to go with Donald. “I do think it’s great for Peta, certainly after last season went, for her to be where she is. I do think it’s Donald’s to lose at this stage.”
That makes two pros who are rooting for the smiley football player, since Val Chmerkovskiy said recently that he’s also predicting Donald will be the winner.
But the truth, as Tristan pointed out, is that nobody knows. That’s why we’ll have to watch!
Watch the next new episode of DWTS on Monday, May 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
