Was Dancing With the Stars Season 14 the Best Season Yet?
From Week 1, Dancing With the Stars Season 14 was drowning in superlatives.
The hosts and judges declared it the best premiere ever. Then it was the strongest, most competitive cast ever. The Semifinals were declared the best ever. Every few weeks, judge Carrie Ann Inaba found a new dance to declare her favorite of all 14 seasons. She ended the season by saying of Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd’s Freestyle, “This is by far my favorite Finals and that is by far my favorite dance tonight!” Even grumpy head judge Len Goodman got in on the act; as we heard him say in a video package during the Finale, “This season, without question, is the best.”
DWTS pro Louis van Amstel didn’t compete on Season 14, but he’s been giving some great constructive criticism in his weekly ABC News blogs. He tweeted last night, “Most of u r asleep, I just wanted to share w u how much I loved everything about tonight's result show. It was the best Finale ever #dwts.”
That’s high praise — especially since he didn’t even get to be a part of it! Do you think this was the best finale ever? Vote in our poll below.
