Which Laguna Beach Hottie Might Be Dancing With the Stars? - Exclusive

Given the popularity of Audrina Patridge and, later, Kristin Cavallari on Dancing With the Stars, it’s no surprise that DWTS would once again turn to the Laguna Beach/Hills set when it came to casting Season 14.

Rumors have been flying that Kyndra Mayo, former hottie on Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County Season 3, had been approached, but nothing was confirmed. Until now. Speaking exclusively with Wetpaint Entertainment, Kendra’s sister Courtney – who’s in talks to do a Laguna Beach spin-off with her sibling – gave us the scoop.

“Dancing With the Stars did approach Kyndra and did meet with her about the show,” Courtney tells Wetpaint Entertainment. “But she wasn’t chosen for this season.” Instead, Courtney explains, Kyndra is currently an alternate. “If someone turns the show down or drops out before the deadline, which I believe is February 28, Kyndra could possibly replace them. But if that doesn’t happen, she’s been told the show is very interested in her for next season.”

Personally, we think blond, bubbly Kyndra would add a great mix of youthful energy and sexiness to the show. And who knows, maybe she’s been hiding a killer Foxtrot, too!

The Dancing With the Stars Season 14 cast will be officially announced on Good Morning America on Tuesday, February 28.
