Handsome General Hospital star Ingo Rademacher is competing on Dancing With the Stars Season 16 with pro partner Kym Johnson.

First of all, we're glad to see Kym on the season since she was also competing on Celebrity Apprentice Australia and we weren’t sure she’d make it! It sounds like they paired the Aussie pro with the right guy, since Ingo, now 41, was born in West Germany but his family moved to Australia when he was around 10, and he was on the Australian soap Paradise Beach before he moved to Los Angeles. He originated the role of Jax on General Hospital in January 1996. He's also appeared on Veronica's Closet, According to Jim and Hawaii Five-0.

He's an athlete and he’s reportedly 6'2" tall — so we’re curious to see him working it on the dance floor. According to his ABC bio, he was a ski champion and a competitive equestrian as a youth. As an adult, he has competed at a high level in beach volleyball and triathlons (winner of the Nautica Malibu Triathlon, celebrity division, for three consecutive years). He took the pole position in the 2005 Long Beach Grand Prix and he recently completed the grueling 32 mile Molokai to Oahu “Channel of Bones” stand-up paddle board race.

He moved to Hawaii in 2012 to pursue his passion for the sport of stand-up paddle board racing. He and his wife, Ehiku, have two sons, Peanut and Pohaku.

Are you excited to see Ingo on the dance floor? DWTS Season 16 premieres Monday, March 18 on ABC.
