It was the silver lining for some fans when the Dancing With the Stars All-Stars cast was named: At least Kate Gosselin wasn’t on the list.

In May, that seemed to be a possibility, with producers rumored to be asking her to return, but only as a last resort. It didn’t come to that, but Kate — who tortured danced with Tony Dovolani back on Season 10 — shared her thoughts on the All-Stars cast in a blog post on CouponCabin.com.

“First of all, congratulations to ALL of the contestants for returning to the dance floor. This time around, they are fully aware of the grueling hours of dancing that lies ahead of them and made the choice to return,” Kate wrote. “I count each one to be braver than perhaps I could be to face the immense amount of fear, nerves and criticism that no doubt comes with the dancing shoes. And to do it all over again? I am amazed and impressed!”

She listed some All-Stars she was looking forward to seeing, adding, “I am very excited to see Pamela Anderson’s second run and although she is the only non-finalist from her (and my) season, I know she will work really hard and enjoy every step!”

Kate said she and Pam bonded over their kids, but Pam was always a better fit for DWTS.

Kate gave Pam extra props for bravery, since she really didn’t do that much better than Kate herself — getting eliminated sixth, whereas Kate was ditched fourth.

“Naturally, Pam Anderson will get my votes this season because she is a fellow Season 10 cast mate and because, in my opinion, she’s braver than brave because she was not a finalist in our season and is the only contestant going into Season 15 with that status. It may seem little, but it’s the little things that can mess with your head! I know Pam will block it out and conquer it.”

Tom Bergeron is also happy Pam Anderson is back. What about you? Are you going to vote for the Baywatch babe or focus on the All-Stars with a record of higher scores?

Dancing With the Stars Season 15: All-Stars will premiere on Monday, September 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. Check out the full All-Stars cast list here.
