Who will win Dancing With the Stars All-Stars? A female celeb! But it could be any one of these three candidates: Shawn Johnson, Kelly Monaco or Melissa Rycroft. They all have strengths and weaknesses and we’ll be sharing reasons why each of them could win. Here are three reasons why Season 8 champ Shawn could be taking home her second Mirror Ball trophy.

1. Freestyles win seasons and Shawn can go all-out with tricks and flips
It’s hard to find disadvantages to being an Olympic champion on DWTS, especially when Super-Sized Freestyle routines are coming on Monday. Shawn has already been showing off some impressive flips and tricks and we can only imagine she and Derek Hough will knock our socks off. Everyone calls the Freestyle the make-or-break routine, and it’s what helped her win Season 8 over Gilles Marini (and Melissa). Shawn is an even better dancer now, showing more maturity and confidence as well, so she should be able to show it all off on Monday.

2. She has the best mix of high scores and crowd-pleasing routines
Head judges Len Goodman usually complains about something when it comes to Derek’s choreography — not enough of this, too much of that. But Derek creates amazing, memorable routines, and he’s been taking some exciting risks on All-Stars. He loves a challenge and Shawn is more than fit to do just about anything he asks. They are something of an athletic dream team together, creating routines their fans love and the judges usually love too.

3. They are the champions to beat
Shawn already beat Melissa on Season 8, and Kelly won Season 1, but they only taped six episodes back then. Shawn is a beloved Olympian with a huge fan base of all ages, on top of being an incredible athlete and a strong dancer. On top of that, Derek has won DWTS three times. If anyone has the recipe for DWTS success, it’s him. It was almost unfair to pair them up this season, but once it happened they were officially the couple to beat. It would be amazing if anyone did manage to beat them.

Stay tuned for our reasons why we think Melissa and Kelly also have a chance at winning.
