Uh-oh! Three-time Dancing With the Stars champ Derek Hough is planning to compete this fall on DWTS All-Stars — the official cast will be released tomorrow — but it sounds like that's it.

"This season is kind of my swan song," the pro dancer told USA Today. "It's my last hurrah."

Derek started on DWTS on Season 5, one season after his two-time champ sister Julianne Hough. Derek stayed with us every season until Season 12, when he took a break to film Cobu (which will reportedly be released in January 2013.) Even though we survived, we didn't want to have to live without Derek again. But Julianne left us for the silver screen and it sounds like the other Hough may be ready to do the same.

"It's really difficult to do both, impossible really," Derek told USA Today. "This show is full time … there is zero flexibility. And I want to do other projects. I want to push myself into other areas. And this is my 10th season, a great benchmark. You just kind of feel it. I need to take that chance. It's important."

Scary! Especially since Maksim Chmerkovskiy has also hinted at wanting to spread his wings and try other things, including acting. We can’t live without our favorite pros!

Would you miss Derek or are you ready to see him check out of DWTS?

Dancing With the Stars Season 15: All-Stars will premiere on Monday, September 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
