Eventually our Olympic fever will cool, but right now we’d love Team USA to take a bow, run into their dressing rooms and return five minutes later, dressed for and all-Olympics season of Dancing With the Stars. (Jeah!) That’s not gonna happen, but what if The Powers That Be could make it happen a year from now?

DWTS has cast many Olympians over the years, usually one at a time, including winners Apolo Ohno, Kristi Yamaguchi and Shawn Johnson, runner-up Evan Lysacek, the injured Misty May-Treanor, and Natalie Coughlin. In the past week, London Olympics stars Ryan Lochte, Missy Franklin and Michael Phelps have all expressed interest in joining DWTS, with Phelps referencing the great reviews Natalie gave her experience on Season 9. With so many great past and potentially future Olympians in the mix, wouldn’t it be amazing to have a special all-Olympics edition of DWTS? Maybe not for next spring’s Season 16 but possibly for next fall — just before the 2014 winter Olympics?

We have a whole dream cast of (hot!) Olympians in mind — they could be all U.S. or mix it up. If enough people like the idea, it’s possible DWTS and ABC could make it happen. But what do you think of the idea? Would you like an all-Olympics season or do you prefer the current mix of Olympians and other celebs — like singers, actors, football players and reality TV stars?

Dancing With the Stars Season 15: All-Stars will premiere on Monday, September 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. Check out the full All-Stars cast list here.
