As the sun now stands, none of the Dancing With the Stars pros have officially said “I am taking the next season off.”

Even the statement that Cheryl Burke would be taking off the Spring 2013 Season 16 came from an unnamed source, not Cheryl herself. But she has said she wants to take a break, at some point, and pursue other TV possibilities. Maksim Chmerkovskiy has said he’s planning to leave DWTS at the end of his contract, which goes for two more seasons, until the end of 2013. And Derek Hough just added fuel to the rumors that he may not return for Season 16.

A lot of the seasoned pros must be looking down the road, to what they can do after DWTS. It’s only natural. In theory, we could be looking at a major loss of pro dancers this time next year, if Maks is right about others also wanting to leave when their contracts expire.

Since Maks, Derek and Cheryl are the ones who’ve spoken out most recently with hints about leaving the show, we’re curious to know if you would still watch DWTS without any one of them around. Or would you miss them so much the show just wouldn’t be worth it?
