Melissa Rycroft, Season 8 third-place
Melissa wasn’t even supposed to be on Season 8. She was a substitute for the injured Nancy O’Dell. But she certainly made a splash — she and Tony Dovolani made it to third place and on All-Stars she’ll face both of the stars who beat her: champion Shawn Johnson and runner-up Gilles Marini. Melissa came to DWTS fresh from The Bachelor Season 13, where she got engaged to Jason Mesnick. Then he dumped her on the "After the Final Rose" special, ultimately asking out the runner-up who is now his wife. Oops. But don't cry for Melissa. She married her previous boyfriend, Tye Strickland, joined ABC News as a special contributor for Good Morning America, got her own CMT reality show, Melissa and Tye: A New Reality, had a baby girl named Ava Grace and wrote a book called My Reality. She was a member of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders before going on The Bachelor, so those dance skills will come in handy. Again.
