Background:
Former NBA Champ turned actor/producer: it just screams dancing king, right?

Rick Fox first found fame as captain of the Boston Celtics, and then later of the LA Lakers — which, if you know anything about basketball rivalries, is completely insane (for those not in the know: never say you’re a Lakers fan in a Boston bar. Just...don’t do it). He won three-NBA Championships while with the Lakers.

Fox majored in radio, television, and motion picture sciences at UNC before going pro, and he returned to film after his basketball career.  Whether he got the gigs because of his talent in front of the camera (as opposed to on the court) may be up for debate, but there’s no denying he’s scored some sweet roles: his credits include an inmate on HBO’s Oz, a star role in Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns, and reoccurring roles on Ugly Betty and The Game.

Not content in front of the camera, Fox has also started his own production company, 1744 Entertainment, which currently has produced one project — Hysteria, a movie so exciting Wikipedia doesn’t even have a page for it!

Achievements and Awards:
Fox has won three NBA Championships with the Lakers.
