After the previous night's battle royale, tight judges' scores mean at least half the competitors are potentially on the chopping block. Kathy & Tom had the lowest scores (18), but Chuck, Louie, Michael, Melissa, Joanna, and Kelly were all within two points of them.
As the night goes on, the cuts are judicious and the audience remains on edge. After 12 pairs are saved, two couples remain (Debi & Maks, and Kathy & Tony) and it could really go either way. Finally, Tom brings the knife down, and Kathy gets the axe.
