Danielle Staub Doesn’t Have to Pay Sex Tape Lawsuit Debt — Report

Former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub has faced her share of bumps in the road of late. But she just got some good news regarding a lawsuit over the alleged sex tape she made with an ex-boyfriend.

Danielle's ex Stephen Zalewski sued her in 2010 over their alleged sex tape, accusing her of defamation of character and harassment. Now, Radar Online reports that Danielle does not have to pay the $100,000 in debt that she owed him from the sex-tape lawsuit.

Danielle filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2012, and new court documents have emerged that wipe away more than $226,023 of her debt, including the amount she owes to Stephen. Stephen was suing Danielle for claiming that he filmed the sex tape without her knowledge or consent. The sex tape has never been made public.

Other debts that Danielle no longer has to pay include a $7,270 amount to Nordstrom and over $25,000 in attorney fees. However, she still needs to pay her debts to the IRS, the state of New Jersey, and nine different law firms. Yikes.

We wish Danielle all the best as she moves forward.

Are you surprised by the court's ruling in this case?
