Guys...Glee’s Darren Criss (Blaine) just sang a duet with a Disney princess. No joke. They performed “A Whole New World” from Aladdin. Basically, everything is now perfect and nothing else matters.

It all went down at Marie’s Crisis, a well-known gay piano bar in NYC’s West Village. Our favorite Glee “Piano Man” went toe-to-toe with Tony winner Lea Salonga, who provided the singing voice of both Jasmine in Disney’s Aladdin and Mulan in Mulan.

Let that sink in. Darren Criss just performed “A Whole New World” with Princess Jasmine. So he’s like a real-life Aladdin, except with better hair and no monkey. (Though, we’re not entirely sure we’d put it past Darren to go out and buy a monkey.)

The video is actually pretty hilarious to watch. As Darren plays away on piano, the entire bar joins in to help the duo. Then Lea gets to Jasmine’s first solo, and the room is suddenly filled with a bunch of loud “shhhh!!!!”-ing. Clearly, when the real-life Jasmine is singing, those less-than-on-key voices of piano bar karaoke have got to stop.

Darren comes in at the end, alternating with Lea on the final lines of the song. It’s beautiful. It’s wonderful. And Darren Criss is basically a real-life prince.

We dare any other story you’ll read today to even try to top that extreme level of awesome.
