The exact premiere date for Glee’s sixth and final season remains up in the air, as does Season 6’s episode count, but that doesn’t mean the stars of the show shouldn’t continue to support FOX and their fans.

The network held their Fan Fronts yesterday, May 11, in New York City, and in addition to making many important announcements about next year’s TV season, there was also a bevy of FOX-bred entertainment on hand.

From Glee, Lea Michele (Rachel) attended the event, (and looked gorgeous in a short green dress) as did Chord Overstreet (Sam) and Jane Lynch (Sue) but they left the musical stylings to their friend and costar Darren Criss (Blaine), who wowed the crowd with his rendition of the R.Kelly classic “Ignition”.

Darren belted out the tune from start to finish — in a snazzy suit no less! — as hundreds of fans were cheering him on from the audience. As can be expected, his version of the track was edited for young ears, but that hardly takes away from the awesomeness of the performance. In fact, the Glee star was backed by a full band and even showed off some of his dance moves near the end of the song.

Check out Darren’s performance of “Ignition” in the video below and tell us if you’d like to see him cover it next year on Season 6!

Glee Season 5 airs Tuesday nights on FOX at 8 p.m. ET.
