David Beckham’s Sons Go Out For the Team! The Soccer Dad Talks Sports
Feel like you’ve been seeing a lot of David Beckham and his sons lately? Well, enjoy it while you can because Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz only make these kind of appearances once in a blue moon. Typically, you’re more likely to find the younger Beckhams running around outside than walking a red carpet.
There’s a reason for that and, no surprise here, it has everything to do with their athletic parents wanting to make sure their kids stay up and active. “We put a time limit on it,” David tells People of letting his children play video games. “No more than an hour. I know that sounds pretty harsh, but I want my boys to be outside playing.”
The famous footballer and his model wife make sure their kids stay involved in team sports too. “It’s so important to me that they’re involved in sports, for disciple and health,” David explains, adding what each of the boys bring to the pitch. “[Brooklyn] is pretty skillful. My middle one, Romeo, is the quick one; he’s super fast. The small one, [Cruz], is the tough one, of course, being the smallest boy.”
What about the darling of the family, baby daughter Harper? Well, like most 3-year-olds, these days she’s all about Frozen. “She just had her third birthday party and it was Frozen-themed,” David said. “My little girl is the biggest Frozen fan ever.”
There’s some pretty stiff competition in that arena but we’ll give you this one, Beckers.
