Just when you think things can’t get worse between Tori Spelling and her estranged husband Dean McDermott, the situation gets messier. We’ve got Tori’s latest TV venture, a Lifetime docu-series called True Tori, to thank for all the extra information and in a new clip from the show, we go TMI times ten.
Tori and her husband of nearly eight years are in the midst of a couples therapy session when Dean decides to throw a little salt on the clearly gaping emotional hole left from the news he cheated on Tori with a 28-year-old.
“We have four kids, so in the sex department there were ebbs and flows,” Dean tells a stony-faced therapist on April 9. “Is that safe to say?” he adds, turning toward his wife.
Tori, confused, looks at the therapist and explains, “We had a great relationship and we had a great sex life.” Note the use of past tense there.
Dean chimes in: “We would have sex once every two weeks” — and here comes the burn — “it wasn’t fantastic.”
Throwing her hands wide, Tori doesn’t even make eye contact with Dean, looking instead at the therapist who tells Dean his sexual expectations for a marriage are “like a fairy tale.” Tori begins to cry and, as we’d already heard, confesses that she can never seem to give her husband enough sex.
The salt isn’t reserved for just Tori though. When quizzed by his wife as to why he picked 28-year-old Emily Goodhand for his one-off, Dean shrugs. “I wasn’t attracted to her. It was just like a warm body.”
It’s a trainwreck, you guys. All aboard?
True Tori premieres tomorrow (April 22) at 10 p.m. on Lifetime.
