Death Threats Sent to Mia Talerico, 5-Year-Old Star of Good Luck Charlie

Cops are hunting down an Internet user who sent death threats last month to actress Mia Talerico, a 5-year-old actress currently playing Charlie Duncan in the Disney Channel show Good Luck Charlie.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, an individual started posting threatening messages on Mia's Instagram in January — one such message reading, "Die, Mia. F—king die in hell! Kill yourself. You deserve to die."

The same person also sent an image of a bloody fist covering a photo of Mia's head with the message, "Yes, kill you, stupid b—h."

Mia's mom brought the matter to Disney security, and now the Los Angeles Police Department's Threat Management Unit is involved.

Neither Disney nor the LAPD has commented on the matter thus far.

Good Luck Charlie made waves last week as it introduced Disney's Channels first same-sex couple, the mothers of one of Charlie's playdates. Viewers opposing the inclusion of LGBT characters petitioned the show as early as June, but there's no word on if that backlash and these threats are related.

Here's hoping the suspect is busted soon! No one deserves such hateful, violent messages — particularly not anyone elementary-school-aged!
