Vicki Gunvalson Defends Her Trip to Oklahoma: I’m Not a Bully!

In this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, viewers got to see veteran star Vicki Gunvalson take a trip to an exotic location — Oklahoma! Vicki made the voyage to help her daughter Briana househunt, but managed to make the whole trip about herself and how Briana was leaving her. “Oklahoma is a fine place to visit,” Vicki said. “Do I want to live there? No! Do I want my grandchildren living there? No! The answer is no!"

Fans didn’t take too kindly to Vicki’s attitude, and one called her out on Twitter, saying, “Kids grow up and go away. It doesn’t mean they don’t love you. Your [sic] a bully to your daughter. I understand you miss her but stop.”

Vicki, of course, was not going to take bullying accusations lying down. (She never does — and that’s what we love about her.) “‘Bully’ is the wrong word!” the OC grandma responded. “Missing her is the right word! Enjoy ur day. It always works out for the best.”

We’re hoping Vicki gets used to the idea of Briana being out in Oklahoma, because we’re pretty sure she intends to stay there. Briana made it very clear that she doesn’t plan to live with her mom “ever again. Ever. Again.”

Do you think Briana’s going to stay in Oklahoma? Will Vicki accept that the move isn’t about her? Tell us what you think in the comments!

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Monday nights at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
