Demi Lovato is going through all kinds of ch-ch-ch-changes in the wake of her brand new self-titled album, probably because writing it was an emotional rollercoaster. Like, even more of an emotional rollercoaster than being a judge on The X Factor.
"Not only does it draw up different emotions because there are songs about heartbreak and there are songs of just wanting to hook up," Demi tells MTV. "And you never want the person you wrote about to hear that song and feel bad. I never want that to happen. But at the same time, it's coming from a personal experience, and if it turns out to be a great song and you're like, 'Well, sorry.'"
Um, welcome to Taylor Swift's life.
"There are songs that are pretty self-explanatory on this album and when I played those songs in front of other people I almost felt, like, naked," Demi continues, and speaking of being naked, she says that recording her most intimate emotions was just like "taking your top off."
Clearly, this pop princess released her inhibitions and felt the rain on her skin during the writing process of her fourth album, and the hard work definitely paid off. Demi is a smash-hit, and we seriously can't stop playing "Heart Attack!"
What do you think of Demi's new album? Because we're currently inspired to take our top off.
