Derick Dillard Goes on Another Anti-Trans Tirade After TLC Firing (UPDATE)
UPDATE (12/7/17 at 12:09 p.m. ET):
Losing his TV job over anti-trans comments hasn't exactly made Derick Dillard lose his voice.
TLC cut ties with Jill Duggar's husband after he made transphobic remarks against network-mate Jazz Jennings, and now, he's at it again.
Though this time the dad of two doesn't call out the I Am Jazz star by name, he shared a video on his official Facebook page in which kids are being taught about gender fluidity and identity.
He calls it "child abuse."
"How unfortunate what children are subjected to in the name of progressive understanding," he adds.

UPDATE (11/14/17 at 11:00 a.m. ET):
Derick Dillard's recent firing from TLC seems to be hitting him hard, at least financially.
Jill Duggar's husband has started a GoFundMe page after news broke that he'd been fired from the network after making transphobic comments against I Am Jazz star, Jazz Jennings.
And what he's raising money for is pretty ironic.
According to the GoFundMe, the 28-year-old is hoping to raise $10K to help pay for his upcoming ministry missions.
“I am currently serving through a program at my home church, called the Cross Church School of Ministry! I am so excited about this incredible opportunity for further ministry development, and I would like to invite you to share in this excitement with me,” he wrote.
“I started a fundraiser on gofundme to raise the funding I need for various missions opportunities I will have throughout the year. I have a donations goal of $10,000. This will enable me to fulfill my specific calling to ministry this year, including trips for Gospel-advancement and humanitarian work in Northwest Arkansas, North America, and abroad.”

Original story (11/13/17 at 9:19 a.m. ET):
We guess we can't end the year without another huge Duggar scandal.
This time the hooplah is regarding Jill Duggar's husband Derick Dillard, with whom TLC has officially cut ties after his second string of transphobic comments against trans network-mate, Jazz Jennings.
The dad of two first made some transphobic slurs against the teen in August, saying being transgender is an "oxymoron" and a "myth."
“A ‘reality’ show which follows a non-reality,” he tweeted. “‘Transgender’ is a myth. Gender is not fluid; it’s ordained by God.”
But for some reason the religious dude decided to come for the Florida gal again, this time tweeting mean things about her — and referring to her as "him."
“I pity Jazz, 4 those who take advantage of him in order 2 promote their agenda, including the parents who allow these kinds of decisions 2 be made by a child,” he tweeted (and deleted).
“It’s sad that ppl would use a juvenile this way. Again, nothing against him, just unfortunate what’s on tv these days."
Jazz's show, I Am Jazz, focuses on her life as a trans teen and the obstacles she faces as a result, even tackling the possiblity of her getting "bottom surgery" on the most recent third season.
Most fans sided with the 17-year-old in Derick's rant against her, as did their parent network, TLC.
In a statement, the network confirmed they've cut ties with Derick ever since the original comments he made in the summer, and they don't plan to stop telling Jazz's story anytime soon.
“We want to let our viewers know that Derick Dillard has not participated in Counting On for months and the network has no plans to feature him in the future," they said of the Duggars' family show.
"We want to reiterate that Derick’s personal statements do not reflect the views of the network. TLC is proud to share the story of Jazz Jennings and her family and will continue to do so.”
Jazz, as always, is keeping it classy and not letting one dude's hatred get her down.
In the face of constant ignorance and hatred I prefer to disregard negative opinions and continue moving forward with loveJazz Jennings (@JazzJennings__) November 11, 2017
This girl is wise beyond her years!
Meanwhile, the future of Counting On remains uncertain — we're still awaiting a season pick-up on it — and Derick continues to dig himself deeper and deeper, whether he's making questionable parenting choices with his two sons, Israel and Samuel, or hinting via bible verses that he's cheating on his wife, Jill.
But even if the docu-series does return, it's comforting to know Derick won't be a part of it.
