Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried Relationship Update — June 9, 2014
As we take bets on who Andi Dorfman will (hopefully) fall in love with on her current season of The Bachelorette, we can’t help but remember how weepy with joy we were during Season 9’s finale when Chris Siegfried proposed to Desiree Hartsock. It’s been seven months since we checked in on the Seattle sweethearts, and that’s like more than half a year spent without air. So let’s get a dose of much-needed O2, shall we, and find out how those crazy kids been spending their together time lately.
November 29, 2013: In high school, we won the title of most likely to stay lazy, which means we wait until the day before Christmas to get our Douglas fir. Apparently these two are planners because they nabbed their Charlie Brown tree before the dog could even get its paws on Thanksgiving leftovers.
February 21, 2014: While they got engaged back in the summer of 2013 when Chris took a knee in Antigua, the pair finally held their engagement party in February at DeLille Cellars winery in Woodinville, Wash. Fellow Seattlites and Bachelor Nation alumni Jason and Molly Mesnick attended the soiree, with about 40 other guests.
March 10, 2014: Whether it was to offer their support or to demonstrate what an in love couple should look like, the two stepped out to soak up the goodness that was the taping of Juan Pablo Galavis’s After the Final Rose special.
April 1, 2014: The lovebirds picked a wedding day! Or did they? Nope. Just joshin’. Chris tricked us intothinking they’d picked December 12 of 2014 as their big day with an April Fool’s Day tweet that got us all excited — and then all sad. Two months later and the duo still haven’t announced a date. Come on, guys, we’re waiting.
April 26, 2014: The outdoorsy Siegstock trekked to the top of Rattlesnake Ledge, a popular Seattle area hiking spot, and took the cutest engagement photos known to man. While we love, love, loved the photos, it only got us even more frenzied for a wedding date announcement.
May 9, 2014: Chris ventured into radio with a new podcast with Jason Mesnick. The two were supposed to dish on all things Bachelor/ette, but it appears it just wasn’t their thing because there’s only one episode currently up on the podcast’s website.
