January seems to be a popular month for Bachelor Nation weddings — Sean Lowe and Catherine Guidici tied the knot on January 26, 2014, and now Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried are following in their footsteps by setting the date for their “I dos” for sometime in January 2015.

So what can we expect from their big day? Here’s everything we know about the upcoming Siegsock nuptials.

It Will Be Televised!
While we all got our hopes up that the nuptials would play out on ABC for our viewing pleasure, it just wasn’t in the cards. Back in October Chris said, "We wanted to share it with everyone because they wanted to see it.” However, because the show’s ratings have taken a hit in recent years, “it's not cost effective for them…” Bummer. Guess we’ll have to wait for the morning after and check out all the photos on Instagram.

They Had a Blast at Their Engagement Party
The happy couple feted their engagement at a party in February 2014 at DeLille Cellars winery in Woodinville, Wash. About 40 people attended, including Des’s mom and Bachelor couple Jason and Molly Mesnick.

Their Wedding Date Is Coming Soon!
Des and Chris recently sent out an adorable save-the-date video announcing their wedding would be happening in January 2015. While the actual date of the big day is conspicuously missing from the announcement, at least we know that Des will be a married woman by February 1 at the very latest.

They Were Trying to Decide Between Having the Ceremony in Seattle or L.A...When we spoke to Des in October 2013, she admitted she still hadn’t decided whether she wanted the wedding to be held in Seattle, where she currently lives with Chris, or in Southern California, where her friends are. Decisions, decisions....

And Decided on California!
In a March interview, Des said that while they’re still making Seattle their home, the wedding won’t be in the Pacific Northwest. “It will be in California, since that is where I call home,” Des said.

Des Designed Her Own Wedding Dress
Des has a serious eye for design, so she teamed up with Maggie Sottero Designs to create her perfect wedding dress. Scratch that — dresses. The 28-year-old designed a “vintage-inspired sheath gown” for the ceremony as well as a dress for the reception that she can “get down on the dance floor” in. Both dresses are already finished and waiting for the big day.

Des Will Be Wearing Lace and Diamonds at Her Wedding
After Des and Maggie asked fans for suggestions on what her dress should look like, Des picked “lace and some bling” as her favorite. Des also reveals Nicole Richie as her celebrity style crush, so perhaps we can expect Des to rock something a little edgier than we’re used to.

Their Wedding Will Feature a Milkshake Bar
While the wedding is sometimes “all about the bride,” Des is happy to oblige Chris’s one request for their reception: a milkshake bar. Sign us up!

Des Will Have 8 Bridesmaids
Talk about a wedding party! In a recent Q&A on her blog, Des revealed her Maid of Honor and bridesmaids have all already been put on notice “and there will be 8 of them.” So far, we only know two of them (fellow Bachelor 17 alum Daniella McBride and show producer Amy Bean), but we’re betting we’ll see plenty more gals from Bachelor Nation in the procession.

Desiree’s Bachelorette Party Was in Vegas
That’s right, when it came to her bachelorette party, Des stuck with the tried and true. She and a posse of ladies, including Molly Mesnick and Daniella McBride, took the Vegas strip by storm. They partied poolside, hit up the Britney Spears show at Planet Hollywood, and then partied some more at the SLS club. Quite the send off for our Des.

Their Honeymoon Will Be Tropical
It makes sense that the newlyweds will want to head somewhere tropical for their honeymoon — after all, they did get engaged in Antigua. So we weren’t all that surprised when Des wrote on her blog recently that the newly-married couple will celebrate their first days as Mr. and Mrs. somewhere “tropical like Hawaii or Fiji.” Aloha.

Plenty of Bachelor Nation Pals Will Be in Attendance
Since moving to Seattle, they’ve been palling around hard with Jason and Molly. Aside from that, Des was in attendance at Renee Oteri’s secret wedding, so we’re betting she’ll get an invite. Also on the list? Ali Fedotowsky (“I love hanging out with Ali!”), and all the couples from the franchise: Trista and Ryan SutterAshley Hebert and J.P. RosenbaumDeAnna Pappas and Stephen Stagliano, and Sean and Catherine. Plus, Daniella McBride and Jackie Parr from Season 17 of The Bachelor. And, oh yeah, Brooks Forester, the guy who broke her heart before Chris swooped in to fix it is also on the guest list. It’s a Bachelor Nation reunion!
