Former Destiny’s Child Singer Arrested For Disorderly Conduct (VIDEO)
Bright and early this morning (Sunday, July 20), former Destiny's Child singer Farrah Franklin was taking a new mug shot.
According to TMZ, Farrah, 33, was arrested for disorderly conduct and booked into Horry County Detention Center in Conway, S.C., around 5 a.m. She was released on bond in the afternoon. TMZ posted her mug shot photo over here, but they had no details beyond noting that they were told "alcohol was definitely involved."
Farrah doesn't seem too upset about whatever went down. She later tweeted about her horoscope and wished everyone a blessed Sunday from her spot in the Myrtle Beach International Airport.
In April 2011, Farrah was also arrested for disorderly conduct in Culver City, CA. She was released hours later on $100 bail. Her hair is straight in that mug shot, curly in the new one. (Not that the mug shot is the most important thing to focus on, but ... the new one looks better, no?)
Farrah, now 33, was only with Destiny's Child for about five months in 2000 before being let go. At the time, Beyonce told TRL host Carson Daly, “We have to say that Farrah was not kicked out of Destiny’s Child. She actually did not show up for three major promotional events... [...] So we all agreed that Farrah and Destiny’s Child should part ways, and we wish her the best in the future." You may also remember seeing Farrah on an episode of Millionaire Matchmaker back in 2009.
Since it’s not clear what she allegedly did to get called disorderly, we’ll just wish her luck with the rest of her summer — have fun, but don’t go “Jumpin’ Jumpin’” into more trouble!
