Dianna Agron Gets Violent in The Family — Don’t Mess With Her!
Watch out, Glee fans. You're about to seeDianna Agron (Quinn) like you've never seen her before.
The former Cheerio takes a decidedly dark and edgy turn in her newest role: Playing the gun-toting daughter of a mafia boss (Robert DiNiro) in an upcoming film called The Family.
Formerly known as Malavita, The Family tells the story of an American mob family forced to relocate to France under witness protection after all their lives are put in danger for snitching on the mob. The film, which will hit theaters on September 20, also stars Michelle Pfeiffer as pyromaniac mother of Dianna’s character.
Unable to adjust to their quiet new life in small town France, the family quickly returns to their old ways. Dad pummels a plumber to a pulp, Mom sets the local grocery store on fire, and Dianna’s character even viciously beats up an unwanted suitor up with a tennis racquet.
“You’re a maniac!” her brother tells her. She smiles sweetly in reply. “Thank you."
When the official movie poster came out on June 4, Dianna quickly tweeted it out for everyone to see. “And this is out today come to find out. Kind of hard to believe! So. First look. Malavita is now #THEFAMILY” she wrote.
Are you ready to see Dianna kick some major a** on screen? This September can’t get here fast enough!
