Dianna Agron (Quinn) has become quite a fixture on the art fair circuit in recent months, and the actress has developed a good eye and discerning (but expensive!) taste. Di was in New York last week and attended a party honoring artists at the New Museum.

In between enjoying herself and mingling with the crowd, Dianna managed to chat briefly with Women’s Wear Daily about her own growing art collection.I have a couple of pieces I’ve bought for myself,” she began. “It’s not often that I indulge, but that’s because I have a mortgage to pay.” A young Hollywood starlet who is fiscally responsible?! We can get on board with that.

Dianna went on to explain, “I’ve done a lot of indie films in the last few years, and those are not the breadwinners, so you have to watch your spending.” Since leaving Glee (at least in a full-time capacity) after the third season, Dianna has gone on to land some small movie roles, but like she said, the paychecks from those gigs don’t exactly pay all of the bills and leave a lot left over.

Still, she started filming on Tumbledown a movie with Jason Sudeikis several weeks ago, and Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy has said the door is open for her (and others) to return for the show’s sixth and final season if she would like to.

In August 2012 we told you that Dianna’s co-star Lea Michele (Rachel) was earning a reported $75,000 per episode, and even though the show isn’t in its heyday anymore, Lea probably earned more than that per episode in Season 5. Dianna’s role on the show was always smaller than Lea’s, but we bet Di was making a good living before she decided to cut back on Glee in favor of other acting gigs. Maybe if she agrees to appear in a few episodes when the series returns in 2015, she can reward herself by splurging on a new art piece!
