Did Cristina Yang Win the Harper Avery Award on Grey’s Anatomy?

Grey's Anatomy Season 10, Episode 20: "Go It Alone," Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh) was faced with one of the biggest nights of her life. As we saw last week, she'd been nominated for a Harper Avery award, and this week she found out if she won. So, did she?

Sadly, no. But you know that's just going to motivate her to go on to bigger and better things. Nothing will stop our girl.

Of course, it wasn't a smooth road to get to the big moment. Instead of spending the night before the big ceremony drinking with her bestie and coming up with a speech, Cristina found that all her friends were busy, and ended up having to intervene with her heart patients instead. She ended up rushing off to the airport on her own. But it's OK, because Owen and Cristina showed up for her in the end! Love it. Friends are more important than an award, anyway.

Are you glad this story played out as it did, or do you think she should have won? Will this help motivate Cristina leaving at the end of the season? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

Grey's Anatomy airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
