Did Kenya Moore Start the Fight at NeNe Leakes’ Pillow Talk Party?

For months now we’ve been hearing about some rumored rift between NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore — something that was later confirmed by the feuding parties themselves — though we had no idea what led to the epic shade fest. Now, after catching the January 26 episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, the seeds of disagreement are starting to take place.

Following the fight between Kenya and singer Christopher Williams, which somehow became a fight between Brandon DeShazer and Apollo Nida, NeNe blamed the beauty queen for starting the whole mess because she was the one that got out of her seat. The logic is a bit shaky, sure, (Kenya never even came close to throwing a punch), but it seems like NeNe really gets mad when Kenya infers that she was actually the one who started the showdown.

Yes, Kenya did get out of her seat and head towards Christopher, but she didn’t touch him or do anything violent. NeNe is slightly further removed from the chaos, but we do see Kenya’s point that Mrs. Leakes stirred the pot with some of the subjects she wanted to discuss at her Pillow Party, like whether or not you would stay with your man if he cheated on you.

We don’t think any one person should be blamed for a throwdown as epic as the one we watched on January 26, but at least one other person also thinks Kenya was at fault. In a sneak peek for the February 9 episode, Phaedra Parks says, “I’m not downplaying Apollo’s role in this whole mess, however, I blame Kenya for this whole melee. Because if she would have remained in her seat and acted as if she had some sense for a change, none of this would have happened.”

Looks like Phaedra is following NeNe’s logic here!

Do you think Kenya is solely responsible for the epic argument, or is more than one person to blame for everything that went down? Tell us your thoughts below!
