Looks like reality star and Grammy-nominated artist Tamar Braxton needs to go back to “Shade Anonymous” for rehab. Recently, Tamar’s friend and songwriter, T.C., took to Twitter to make note on the album sales for Britney Spears’s latest album, Britney Jean. And, well, it looks like Tamar doesn’t think highly of the pop singer’s music.

When T.C. retweeted Chart News, saying@chartnews: US album sales: @britneyspears, Britney Jean 241,000.’ This ain't right, can't b,” Tamar responded@SongwriterTC it's NOT! Chart position maybe but SOUNDSCAN not even close !”

Hmm, sounds like a low blow, right? Well, a couple fans took it that way and hopped on Twitter to tell Tamar that her “shade” towards Britney was unnecessary, but were met with rebuttal from T.C. who claims that Tamar’s remark was about her own record sales, and not Britney’s “chart position," however some fans didn’t see it that way.

After a few more back and forth jabs over the situation, the argument died down, but it’s no secret that Tamar has a history of throwing a palm tree or two at other musicians in the industry. Let’s not forget theepic feud between Tamar and her former rival, K. Michelle, as well as the jab she most recently threw at her former stylist and blogger, Funky Dineva, though Tamar claims that everyone has it all wrong about the nature of her posts.

Tamar confessed on Twitter that she would be giving up “shade” for lent this past Friday so maybe this can all be a misunderstanding… or not.

Do you think Tamar threw shade at Britney Spears or was it all a misunderstanding? Sound off in the comments before!
